Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Have questions about your GrandyVision smart photo frame or companion app? Find quick, detailed answers to the most common inquiries.
General Support & Pairing
When you plug in the GrandyVision Player Kiosk Photo Frame for the first time, it will automatically search for Wi-Fi networks. Select your network name, enter the password using the on-screen keyboard, and tap Connect. Once connected, a 6-digit pairing code will display on the screen.
For security reasons, the 6-digit pairing code shown on the smart photo frame is temporary and expires after 10 minutes. If it expires before you enter it in the companion app, simply tap the screen on the photo frame to refresh and generate a new pairing code.
Yes. GrandyVision uses Cloud Firestore and secure OTP (One-Time Passcode) authentication. Only users explicitly invited and authorized can upload photos or set reminders on your frame. All media storage is isolated and access-controlled.
Sharing & Invitation Management
Absolutely! Multiple family members can post to the same photo frame. The frame owner can send invitations to other family members using the companion app's invite flow. Each family member will have their own app session.
If you received a text message invitation, tap the link in the SMS to open the invitation page. You will log in securely via OTP authentication, pair with the frame automatically, and be able to immediately upload photos. For a detailed step-by-step walkthrough, see our I have received an invitation guide.
Open the companion app, select the frame, and go to settings. Tap Send Invite, select the family member from your contacts list (or enter their number), and tap send. This will create a prefilled invitation SMS on your phone.
