Here is a detailed breakdown of what each setting control on the Display Settings screen manages:
Personalizes the name of the frame on the network. Make it easy for family members to find and select this specific frame when sending images or reminders.
Customizes the card banner header on the frame. Instead of the default "What's happening next", you can change it to "Schedule", "Gran's Day", or "Upcoming Fun!" to better fit how the frame is used.
Instantly alter the frame UI's aesthetic palette, changing backgrounds, card frames, and accent text colors using quick color swatches (Purple, Dark Grey, Black, Gold).
Select between a smooth Fade transition or a vertical scrolling Scroll transition when photos cycle in the slideshow.
Adjusts the speed/duration of the transition effect itself (e.g. 1 second for a quick fade, 3 seconds for a slow, gentle transition).
Controls how long each slideshow picture stays active on the screen before moving to the next one (e.g. 10 seconds up to several minutes).
Toggle showing or hiding the photo's custom title/caption at the bottom of the screen. Great for clean viewing or helping remind grandparents who is in the photo.
Instantly switch frame layout between Portrait (vertical) and Landscape (horizontal) modes. The device accelerometer handles physical rotation, but this locks the setting via software.
Toggle automatic frame sleeping to conserve power. Set the frame display to turn off (black screen) during late hours (e.g., 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM) and wake up refreshed in the morning.
